WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF SCALE HARDWARE?
With two decades of experience in micro-engineering technology as our foundation, Scale Hardware was formed three years ago to provide precision scale fasteners to the model building enthusiast. Company founder Bob Breslauer is an experienced scale model builder who understands the miniature hardware and tool needs of model builders.

All scale model projects requiring high-quality, detailed and realistic hardware. Our client projects include miniature trains, airplanes, automobiles, military vehicles, ships and architectural models. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE FASTENER IS RIGHT FOR MY PROJECT?
We offer realistic scale fasteners. Suppose you are working in 1/35 scale and need to model a hex bolt head in brass that is 3/4" from flat to flat. Divide 3/4" (.750" ) by 35. The result is 0.021". Click on Simulated Hex Bolts and check the "W" dimensions in the table. Our 0.5mm Brass Simulated Hex Bolt (SMHB-05-B) is .020" flat to flat (W) and will bring a level of detail to the project that molded resin or plastic can't approach.

HOW DO YOU SHIP SCALE HARDWARE PRODUCTS?
We ship worldwide via USPS First Class Mail. The flat rate charge for shipping & handling is $3.00 domestic / $4.00 anywhere else in the world! Most orders are shipped within one business day. Priority Mail service is now available at checkout for both domestic and international customers.
